About
I'm J. Randolph "Randy" Turpin — pastor, revivalist, educator, and writer. My work spans the pulpit and the page, from church planting and pastoral leadership to higher education administration, theological teaching, and freelance publishing.
Ordained as a bishop in the Church of God, I've served congregations in Maine, Minnesota, West Virginia, and Tennessee, and have spoken at conferences and ministry events in sixteen states and several countries. I've also held leadership roles in higher education, including the presidency of Valor Christian College.
Today I serve as a faculty mentor and dissertation editor at Global Awakening Theological Seminary, guiding Doctor of Ministry students through the final stages of their academic work. Through Declaration Press, my independent imprint, I publish my own books and assist other authors in bringing their work to market.
I also write freelance content for health, wellness, and nutritional supplement brands — bringing the same editorial discipline to product copy that I bring to dissertations and devotionals.
